Associate Professor, Architecture Track, Faculty Dean

Prof. Dr. Yasha Jacob Grobman (M): Yasha J. Grobman is the dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Town Planning at the Technion. Prof. Grobman has over 20 year of activity in architectural research and practice that is related to architectural technology, and especially in developing computational tools and methods for innovative computer-aided architectural design, evaluation and fabrication. Grobman published over 80 papers in scientific journals and conferences and received numerous awards in sustainability research and design.

Prof. Grobman earned his bachelor’s degree in architecture from Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem in 1997, and his master’s degree from the Architectural Association School of Architecture, Design Research Laboratory in London in 2002. He received his doctorate from the Technion Faculty of Architecture and Town Planning in 2008 and was a post-doctoral fellow at Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design before joining the Technion faculty in 2010.
